A Visionary Educationist with over 35 years of unwavering dedication to the field of education, Ms Sunir Nagi is a seasoned educationist, trainer, and mentor. Her academic journey reflects a deep passion for learning, holding a Master's degree in both English and Psychology. Through her extensive experience and commitment, she has consistently inspired growth and innovation in educational practices.
“CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT”
Having served as the Senior Principal for 26 years, Ms Sunir Nagi made a lasting impact on countless students by guiding their growth and inspiring their aspirations..She has an experience of having served as the Treasurer of the Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex (HSSC) for four years, contributing significantly to the educational community.
She has been a resource person for the CBSE Training Unit, covering topics such as social science, inclusive education, career guidance, ethics and integrity, critical and creative thinking, gender sensitivity, happy classrooms, art integration, classroom management and many more. Her contributions also include serving as a CBSE school inspection committee member, head examiner for social science, and centre superintendent for CBSE examinations.
As a passionate educator, she has conducted numerous workshops, train-the-trainer programs, authored books, including "Around the Globe" (social science) and "From the Rocking Chair" (storybook).
Her commitment to education has been recognized with several awards, including Acharya Devo Bhava award, Progressive Principal award, Karma Ratna Award, Avantika Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Samman, GISA International School award (Dubai), Leader par excellence' award (Thailand), Grand Queen's Award (Lion Club and Telangana Tourism).

Our Faculty
Delhi School is privileged to have a dynamic team of dedicated and committed teachers, who are eager to teach, share and care. Each member contributes positively and productively to the growth and development of the students and subsequently the development of the institution. Here, the teachers kindle the curiosity of the child about the unknown and allow child to experience the happiness of that exploration. We teach students to learn to Imagine, search, observe, think, play question, create, share, enjoy, read, inquire, wonder, discuss, ask and yes! Even day dream! The faculty at DS is well trained to recognise and ignite this ability when we see the children exploring, devouring books, seeking information, manipulating data, asking questions, investigating concepts and connecting with people and nature.
The teachers play multiple roles as mentors, philosophers and guides, leading the children on to the path of success. Teachers at DS know how important it is to inculcate the value system in the students like sociability, self-awareness, resilience, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, tolerance, empathy, respect, self-esteem, high personal expectation, resourcefulness and creativity. Theydo not restrict themselves to classroom teaching alone, but also help to clarify doubts and dispel the fears and anxiety of the students. They constantly motivate them to perform well both in academics and co-curricular activities. In-service training, refresher programmes, micro teaching sessionscum workshops by internationally acclaimed academicians are organised periodically to update the teachers with the latest trends and technology in the field of education. To make teaching more effective and learning more interesting, the faculty uses digital boards installed in all the classrooms.
