Sports provide perfect relaxation and a welcome break from the monotony of academics. DIS aims at providing state of art sporting facilities on its campus to encourage the student body to participate, pursue and benefit from sports and games.
Life at Delhi International School is very interesting and engrossing. Several leisure time activities are offered to keep students active and agile throughout the day. Kindergartners enjoy a well- designed toddler pool and playpen. There is also a provision for students to play indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess. Research shows that dancing boosts a child's self-esteem. Dancing makes children feel good and help them gain confidence in their own abilities thereby benefiting the child's education. More comprehensively, education in the art of dance develops kinesthetic and spatial learning as well as intra and interpersonal skills. Dance classes at DIS, enable children gain the benefits of exercising. They also teach the students coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, stability, memory and discipline.Dance is simply the refinement of human movement - walking, running, and jumping. We are all experts. There should be no art form more accessible than dance, yet no art is more mystifying in the public imagination.

The objective of Atal Tinkering Lab is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc. Children at DIS get a chance to work with tools like 3D printer and other tinkering equipment to understand the what, why and how aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). DIS firmly believes in giving a strong foundation to nurture young minds to become innovators of tomorrow. DIS offers Robotics as an integrated subject for grades VI to X. STEM education is essential in preparing students for today’s world of non-stop innovation. Through the integrated Robotics curriculum, students will learn more than just programming. They will cultivate skills such as leadership, team work and interacting with different technological platforms. The practical sessions will focus on understanding simple machines, microcontrollers, sensor interfacing, programming and the mechanical Design of a robot.
Students are engaged into the learning process using hands-on robotics activities platforms to instill scientific temperament and foster innovation & creativity. The hands-on activity designed are in-line with NCERT National Curriculum Framework. The Tinkering lab at DIS teaches students essential 21st-century skills which help them develop their professional and personal skills.
